NEDC TRAINS 558 ON BRIQUETTE, CHARCOAL PRODUCTION, SOLAR INSTALLATION IN YOBE STATE

The Northeast Development Commission, NEDC: has handed over training kits and starter packs to 558 beneficiaries in Damaturu Yobe State.


The MD/CEO of the Commission Mohd Goni Alkali who was represented by Prof. Ali Ibrahim Abbas Yobe State NEDC Coordinator made the presentation in Damaturu.

The beneficiaries were trained few weeks ago on: Climate Change Adaptation; Waste Collection, Enhanced Scavenging, and Recycling of Waste Plastic; Use of Energy-Efficient Stoves; Fabrication of Energy-Efficient Stoves and Briquette Production; Watershed Management for Professionals & Artisans, and Renewable Energy for Youth Empowerment on solar installations.
