Rivers United Remain Unbeaten As Ikorodu City Get First Away Point

Rivers United defeated Shooting Stars 2-0 at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium in Port Harcourt on Thursday to continue their winning streak in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

For Rivers United, Aniekeme Okon scored the first goal on minute 51, and Ndifreke Effiong increased the lead 14 minutes later.

Rivers United, with 17 points from seven games, also made a comeback to the top.

Plateau United handed Remo Stars a 3-1 loss at the New Jos Stadium.
