APC Chieftain tasks Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso to help ease nation’s woes

A prominent member of the ruling party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), Alhaji (Dr.) Ilyasu Musa Kwankwaso, has tasked former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Mr. Peter Obi, and his (NNPP) counterpart, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, to be patriotic politicians by proffering solutions on how to ease the current hardships in the country.

According to him, they should contribute their quota to alleviate the suffering of Nigerians instead of relentlessly attacking President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

He emphasized that “instead of attacking President Bola Tinubu, Atiku, Peter Obi, and Kwankwaso should find ways of helping Nigerians out of the present cycle of poverty, hunger, and starvation in the country.”

Kwankwaso, a member of the APC and a former three-time Kano State Commissioner for Rural and Community Development, stated, “It is true that Nigerians are suffering, but it is also true that the government of President Tinubu is doing all it can to make life easier for the citizens, and these efforts should be supported, not criticized.”

He insisted that the government is trying its best to revamp the nation’s economy and address the lingering insecurity, commending the Minister of Defence, Abubakar Badaru, the Minister of State for Defence, Bello Matawalle, as well as the National Security Adviser (NSA), Malam Nuhu Ribadu, for their efforts in curtailing the security challenges.

He then criticized Kwankwaso for not assisting his immediate constituents and supporters of the NNPP in Kano State, as well as those in the neighboring Katsina and Jigawa States, “even though he is the presidential candidate of the NNPP.”

Kwankwaso also highlighted that Atiku, as a former number two citizen of Nigeria, has not contributed his quota to ease the suffering of Nigerians.

According to him, Nigeria is going through a trying period that requires all citizens to come together and find solutions to the problems facing the country.

“We cannot just criticize the federal government; we must suggest ways and means to make things better,” he said.
