The Captain’s Apology; Kudus Mohammed

by admin

Mohammed Kudus, the team’s captain in the last two matches has rendered an emotional apology to Ghanaian football lovers in and out of Ghana about Blackstar’s’ recent disappointing performance. He took to Instagram and wrote.

“In moments like this,” he began, “silence isn’t an option. On behalf of the entire team, I would like to extend our sincerest apologies to the people of Ghana for our recent performances against Sudan in Accra and Libya.”

“Despite our utmost effort and dedication, the results did not reflect our aspirations or the pride we have in representing our beloved nation. We understand the disappointment and frustration this has caused, and we share those feelings.”

Kudus knew that this was more than a bad streak; it was about pride, about the expectations that come with wearing the national jersey. Ghana’s love for football was woven into the very fabric of its culture. Victory was more than points on a board—it was an identity, a source of unity.

“We value the unwavering support and loyalty you’ve shown us,” he wrote, to the heart of every Ghanaian. “And we’re determined to make you proud once again.”

“We urge all fans to stand by us during this challenging period. Your encouragement and faith in us will fuel our determination to succeed. We will not give up.”

The words were more than an apology—they were a promise.

“In the upcoming matches, we look forward to redeeming ourselves. For you, for Ghana, and for the pride that binds us all.”

The Blackstar will look to redeem the image of the country in their last 2 matches in November.
