Senegal had thirty chances to score against their hosts, but Mane’s 25-yard free kick that looped under the wall and into the bottom corner of the net in the closing seconds sealed the win for Senegal.
With two more games left in the November international window, the 2021 winners—who recently broke up with long-time coach Aliou Cisse—join Burkina Faso as qualified nations from Group L in the 24-team finals.
