by admin

The Super Eagles have left the country for their match against the Mediterranean Knights of Libya on the fourth day of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying tournament.

On Sunday morning, the players and their representatives took a chartered jet out of the nation.

The North Africans were trounced 1-0 by the Super Eagles on Friday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo.

The match on Tuesday will take place 19 km from Benghazy at the 10,000-seat stadium in Benina.

The artificial surface of the stadium might not be appropriate for Nigeria’s international talents.

Augustine Eguavoen’s team will guarantee their spot in the AFCON 2025 finals with a victory.

The much awaited match will begin at 8:00 p.m. Nigerian time.
