Benue APC to flag off LG election campaign on Wednesday

Ahead of the October 5 local government election in Benue State, the All Progressives Congress ,APC, has fixed Wednesday to flag off its campaign in the state.

This was disclosed on Tuesday by the APC State Caretaker Committee chairman, Dr. Benjamin Omale.

He enjoined all stakeholders, support groups and associations, candidates and the teeming supporters of the party in Benue State to attend the campaign rally scheduled to hold at the J.S Tarka Stadium, Gboko.

This was contained in a statement by the State Organising Secretary of the party, Mr. James Ornguga.

He said the event which will commence by noon on Wednesday will be followed by the presentation of flags to all validly nominated candidates.

“All the 23 local governments of the state shall proceed to launch their local government campaigns between Thursday, September 26 and Saturday, September 28, 2024, in their various local governments,” he said.
