All the chairmen for the 21 local government councils in the state, declared elected after the July 13 council poll, are of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

Those who filed petitions include Mohammed Jalo, Mustapha Yusuf, Abraham Innocent, Ja’afaru Umar, Khalled Yaro and Zacharia Adamu Umar, all ADC Candidates for Gombi, Song, Girei, Maiha, Mubi North and Jada LGAs.

Others are Muhammed Lawan Bello and Shehu Inuwa, also from ADC and as chairmanship candidates for Fufore and Yola North LGAs respectively.

There is also Gamaliel Gandume of the Labour Party.
