A 43-year-old woman, Susan Mitche, who sustained severe burns on her body after her husband, Michelle Lowe, allegedly poured hot water on her, does not want him to face the law.
According to Zambia Daily Mail, Susan stated that Michelle was a good and peaceful person.
“I want my husband to be released from police custody. He is a good man and very peaceful in his conduct.
“We have been married for 20 years and he has never beaten or slapped me.
“I don‘t know what came over him that made him pour hot water on me. I believe it was not intentional,” she said.
