Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa state who just got reelected to a second term has described his victory as a victory for the entire people of the North East Nigerian state.
He announced that though his mandate was almost stolen by enemies of democracy, notwithstanding he will remain a Governor for all.
He called on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to remain independent and not allow bad elements in the system to tarnish the image of the Commission.
The INEC Returning Officer, Muhammed Melee had earlier declared incumbent Fintiri of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP winner on Tuesday after polling 430,861 votes to defeat his major contender, Aisha Binani of the All Progressives, APC who polled 398,788.
