Video: Actor Junior Pope dies

The National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas, expressed sadness at the death of the Junior Pope, saying: “It is sad that our joy was short-lived.”

According to a post Thursday morning on his Facebook page, he said that although he had previously announced that Junior Pope was still alive due to excitement when they noticed tingling in his fingers, he ultimately died after tests to try to revive him failed. .
He added: “Two famous hospitals did their best to revive him, but to no avail.” God knows. We lost him in the end. “Mr Friday’s body has been identified but the other three bodies have not yet been found.”

Rollas Coordinator and Chairman of Delta State AGN, Emma Onyemisime, confirmed that the actor’s body had been deposited at the morgue.
It is noteworthy that on Wednesday afternoon, divers recovered the body of Junior Pope after he fell into the Anam River in Anambra State when the boat he was traveling in capsized. Peter Chinedu, one of the divers who recovered their bodies, said they were on their way to the filming location.
However, one supporter, known as David, said he was returning from a photo shoot when their boat capsized in the Annam River. The actor had previously shared a video of himself and others on a boat arriving at the set.
He wrote in a comment on the video: “Watch me lament…the risks we take to entertain you; I crossed the river 9ja yesterday without a life jacket…. Now, who does that??
