The Club World Cup is an international men’s association football competition organised by FIFA, the sport’s global governing body.
In addition to the champion club of the tournament host country, the continental champion clubs of the six football confederations participate in the competition. These are the winners of the UEFA Champions League, the CAF Champions League, the AFC Champions League, the CONCACAF Champions League, the OFC Champions League and the Copa Libertadores. The tournament officially awards the title of world champion.
