The Nigerian Supreme Court has fixed Thursday for the judgment on the appeals by the presidential candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, and the Labour Party, Peter Obi, respectively.
The development is coming barely 72 hours after a seven-member panel of the court heard the appeals and reserved its verdict after parties in the matter adopted their final briefs of argument.
The two men are praying the apex court to set aside the judgment by the presidential election tribunal which affirmed the election of President Bola Tinubu.
The Supreme Court’s Director of Information, Dr. Festus Akande on Wednesday revealed that the judgment on the appeals had been scheduled for Thursday.
