The Nigerian Army have arrested a notorious ISWAP informant identified as Goni Fandam.
Mr Fandam is said to supply information on the movement of security operatives to terrorists.
Fandam, who was arrested by troops under the ‘Operation Hadin Kai’ had been trailed by security services last year before he was arrested while spying on the location of some soldiers in Borno state.
He was said to be part of dozens of spies on monthly remuneration of N250,000 just for supplying intel to terrorists on commuters travelling towards Jakana, Auno, as well as towards Maiduguri, the Borno state capital and Damaturu in Yobe state.
