Sources revealed that residents of the compound became aware of the alleged rape following the complaints by the victim to a neighbour about her ordeal in hands of her father. it was gathered that the neighbour subsequently took the victim was to Azikiwe Police Division at Illabouchi, Mile 2 Diobu, where the matter was reported.
It was also learnt that the teenage girl in her statement alleged that her father have been defiling her for the past two years.
