Nigeria Police Officers Get 20% Salary Increase

Nigeria’s federal executive council (FEC) has approved a 20 percent salary increase for officers of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF).

The rise in salary is to take effect in January 2022.

Maigari Dingyadi, minister of police affairs, disclosed this to pressmen at the presidential villa in Abuja on Wednesday after the FEC meeting.

The meeting was presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari.
