Just a few months to the November 11, 2023 Governorship Election in Imo State, South East Nigeria, a member representing Okigwe South in the House of Representatives, Deacon Chike Okafor has been captured on video telling supporters not to allow any other political party other than All Progressives Congress, APC to campaign in their area.
Okafor, a former Commissioner for Finance under Chief Rochas Okorocha, was seen in a viral video addressing youths in his area that they should not allow other political parties to campaign in their ward.
He told them that Senator Hope Uzodimma, incumbent governor of Imo State remained the only governorship candidate for the election.
Okafor is the Chief Executive Officer of Messiah Holdings/Group of Companies Ltd and a Deacon of Christ Embassy Church in Owerri.
He was seen holding a poster of Governor Hope Uzodimma while addressing youths.
