Alfa Aribidesi At-Tawdeeh, an Ilorin-based priest, confirmed her death on Tuesday morning through his official Facebook page.

Jubril Aawat, a media aide to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, also sent a short tweet on X, writing, “Indeed, we belong to Allah, and we will return to Him.” Q 2 V 156.”

Rukayat was well-known for her captivating voice, which touched many in the Muslim community.
