Nigeria to mark 63rd independence low key

The Federal Government of Nigeria has decided to mark the Independence Day Anniversary of the Country in a less ceremonial way.

Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume while fielding questions from state house correspondents after a meeting with Vice President Shettima at the Presidential Villa Abuja says the 63rd Independence anniversary will be celebrated low key.

A 15-Man planning Committee ahead of the nation’s 63rd independence anniversary was inaugurated on Monday.
