NAF jets strike logistics base of terrorists’ kingpin Kadade Gurgu in Kaduna

The strikes on the logistic base that also resulted in the killing of many terrorists were carried out by Air Component of Operation Whirl Punch (OPWP), the Deputy Director, Public Relations and Information, NAF, Group Capt. Kabiru Ali, said in a statement on Monday in Abuja. According to the statement, intensive intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance confirmed the consistent presence of terrorists and their motorcycles at the location.

Hence, according to Ali, the air component dispatched an aircraft, supported by an Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) platform, to attack the target.
