A man in Nigeria’s Delta state is in hot soup after beheading his toddler child.
The man identified as 33 year old Gabriel Volts allegedly cut off the head of his son for ritual purposes.
The child was One year and Eight months old.
Public Relations Officer of state police, DSP Bright Edafe revealed that Gabriel took his son from his wife and then went to Etinabobo bush in neighbouring Edo state where he used a Hand Saw to cut off the head of his son.
He was said to have buried him by a Palm Tree.
Gabriel allegedly lied to his wife that their son is with his (Gabriel’s) sister in Warri.
The suspicious wife reported to the Police.
The police said the suspect has confessed to the alleged crime.
