The Governor of Oyo state, South West Nigeria Seyi Makinde has assured residents of the state that his government will continue to strengthen operations of security agencies in the state to keep the state safe from criminal activities.
The governor made this known when he presented 30 operational vehicles to security agencies in the state to boost their operations.
The governor was represented by his deputy, Adebayo Lawal accompanied by some government officials as he handed over the vehicles to the various security agencies.
The Deputy Governor, in his address, revealed that this gesture was a fulfillment of his principal’s promise to enhance the state’s security architecture.
He urged all recipients to utilize it for its intended purpose.
Out of the 30 vehicles distributed, 15 were allocated to the Nigeria Police, and the remaining 15 were distributed among various state and non-state security agencies.

These vehicles are expected to aid security agencies in their efforts to maintain safety and combat criminal activities in Oyo state.
