Kaduna Shuts Down Telecoms Services, Bans Motorcycles

Kaduna State Government in North Central Nigeria has shut down the operation of telecommunication services in some parts of the state and also banned the use of motorcycles.

The state government, on Wednesday, announced the ban of the use of motorcycles for commercial and personal purposes and the commencement of the processes for the shutdown of telecommunication services in some parts of the state.

The Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, disclosed this during a press briefing on Wednesday.

Aruwan said the measures will assist the security agencies to carry out their operations in parts of the state.
