Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has thanked Nigerians for tolerating him all through the life of his administration.

The President said this when he received members of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT community and members of his cabinet who came to pay him 9th and final Sallah homage at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The countdown is on to the last day in the life of this administration and President Muhammadu Buhari seems eager to leave office.
The president considered the visit by members of the FCT community as an opportunity to say goodbye.

He says he considers himself lucky to have served Nigeria in different capacities from his career in the military to his life as a civilian and politician.
President Buhari talked about the tremendous goodwill he got from Nigerians that made it possible for him to eventually win the presidential election in 2015 after three failed attempts.

Buhari’s visitors complimented his administration’s performance in tackling insecurity which was indeed challenging and also in building infrastructure across the country.

With barely over one month left, President Buhari says he can’t wait to go home, and he is pleased to have served as President and Commander in Chief of the armed forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
