Unknown Gunmen have killed a Military officer identified as Capt (NN) Yakubu Agwom (rtd) at Fobur village in Jos East LGA of Plateau State.
Sources say the heavily armed men with AK-47 rifles, kidnapped the deceased at Fobur village before killing and dumping his corpse in a forest.
Troops deployed to the area for a rescue mission found his remains in the forest and the corpse of another deceased person.
The wife of the late Captain was kidnapped on December 28, 2020. Also, on June 8, 2021, the wife of Brig Gen Victor Ita was kidnapped around Rukuba road but was later released after the payment of ransom.Â
Last week Thursday, unknown gunmen killed the former Provost Marshall of the Nigerian Army, Maj. Gen. Hassan Ahmed. He was murdered.
His sister who was mistaken for his wife on their way from Okhene was Kidnapped.
