FOUR CYBER CRIME SUSPECTS NAPPED FOR APPLYING ADVANCE TECH IN DEFRAUDING PEOPLE

Operatives of the Command’s Criminal Investigation Department (CID) have arrested Cyber Crime suspects that use Computer network devices to defraud members of the public.

1. Jamilu Abubakar 21years.
2. Asab Vitalis 18years
3. Honest Zubairu 16years
4. Paul Ladan Vanasha 17years, all residents of Shagari Phase 2, Yola South have been hacking into people’s accounts to debit their accounts using Advance techniques and Skills.
Investigation so far reveals that the suspects have been committing the offence since December, 2022.
Meanwhile, as part of efforts at tackling Criminal activities and other related offences the Commissioner of Police *CP Afolabi Babatola* working in concert to deepen intelligence and strengthen security in the State directed that, the Suspects be arraigned in court upon completion of investigations and calls on those falling Victims to such Offences to be watchful and report any Suspicious person(s) to the nearest police Station.
