FCTA begins registration for 2025 Hajj

The FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (FCT-MPWB), has begun registration of intending pilgrims for the 2025 Hajj.

Mr Ahmad Saleh, the Chief Information Officer of the board, in a statement in Abuja on Thursday, asked prospective pilgrims to deposit N8.4 million for the exercise.

Saleh said that intending pilgrims should deposit the amount to the FCT Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Abuja, through a bank draft from any commercial bank.

He added that the intending pilgrims should submit the bank drafts to the board’s respective Area Officers at the six area councils in the FCT.

“The prospective pilgrims are to note that the board does not accept cash deposits and does not entertain registration by proxy.

“It strictly adheres to the principles of first come, first served basis,” the statement added. (NAN)
