Election Tribunal Adjourns To Tomorrow (Video)

The presidential election petition tribunal has reserved its ruling in applications filed by Nigeria’s president elect, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, INEC and APC, seeking the dismissal of the petition filed by Atiku Abubakar and PDP.

Sights & Sounds

The respondents are asking the court to either dismiss the petition in whole or some of its paragraphs and other accompany process filed by the petitioners for offending the provisions of the law.

After taking arguments from Lawyers to parties, Chairman of the panel, Justice Haruna Tsammani announced that the rulings will be reserved till the judgement day of the main petition.

The court however adjourned further pre-hearing session till Saturday, 20th of May, 2022, for parties to agree on the schedule to be adopted for the hearing of the petition.

Similarly, the court adjourned the pre-hearing session of Peter Obi and Labour party suit, filed against Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu to Tomorrow, Saturday.
