Report from Gada Biu area in Jos, the capital of Nigeria’s Plateau state indicate that a petrol tanker fell in the premises of the Vetinary Teaching Hospital.
The medical institution is located at polo roundabout area.
The accident caused massive destruction of properties.
The tanker exploded burning many buildings in the institute.
It was also we noticed that some shops around the Gada Biu area were affected in the inferno that lasted more than two hours.
Oando filling station was not affected as the casualties would have been higher.
One Person was reported to have died. The Tanker Driver was burnt beyond recognition.
This is not the first incidence of a tanker explosion here, there have been more than five accidents at this same Polo Roundabout this year alone.
