Dessers Bags Assist In Rangers Win Over Malmo

Rangers’ perfect start to the Europa League season continued on Thursday, as they defeated Malmo 2-0, with an assist from Cyriel Dessers.

For Rangers this season, Dessers has contributed three assists across all competitions (one each in the Scottish League Cup and the Scottish Premiership).

The Super Eagles forward assisted Nedim Bajrami in scoring his team’s opening goal in the first minute.

The second goal was added by Ross McCausland in the 76th minute, giving the Scottish powerhouses the victory.

As an unutilised substitute, Leon Balogun did not play for the Rangers.

Rangers now occupy fourth place in the 36-team league table as a result of the victory.

Three goals in five Scottish Premiership games and three goals in two League Cup outings have been scored by Dessers.
