Bolos Withdraws From Borno House Of Assembly Race

-By Sani Adamu Musa

Barely 24 hours to the primary election, APC House Of Assembly aspirant Hon. Tijjani Buji Bolori popularly known as Bolos has withdrawn from the Borno state House of Assembly race, paving way for his counterpart to continue.

Hon. Tijjani Buji Bolori stepped down on Wednesday in favour of the incumbent Hon. Ali Kotoko after much consultation and appeal by the party leaders, especially the Party Chairman Alhaji Ali Bukar Dalori.

However, Hon. Tijjani Buji Bolori resolved to support the aspiration of Hon. Ali Kotoko.

The Aspirant said the decision was hard to take, but he stepped down for the good of the constituency.

“After Meeting with the Party Leadership, I decided to withdraw from the race for the good of our constituency and the respect I have for the Party Chairman, Alhaji Ali Bukar Dalori.”

Hon. Tijjani called on his supporters to remain calm and resolute. He urged them to follow the party’s decisions.

“I’m calling on my supporters to exercise patience and abide by the party’s decision, I urge them to remain peaceful and be assured that we will keep them abreast of our decision on the way forward,” Bolos stated.

He called on delegates to work for the success of the party in the forthcoming primary, considering the antecedents and good work of the Party Chairman.
