Three suspected cultists have been arrested by the police in Ogun State for allegedly forcing a young man to drink blood during initiation rites.
This was disclosed in a statement by the Police Public Relations Officer in Ogun state Abimbola Oyeyemi.
The statement said a complaint was made by a young man, Celestine Oyebuchi, that some suspected cultists compelled him to drink blood and tortured him to join their group.
Oyebuchi according go the PPRO said that he was abducted the men and taken to an uncompleted building for the initiation into their group.
He said the victim made his complaint at Igbesa Divisional headquarters. He gave the names as Oyebuchi Williams Omoori, Edet Godswill and Emmanuel Dimgba.
“On interrogation, the three suspects confessed being members of Supreme Vikens confraternity, they confessed further that they were looking for more members to join them which led them to the abduction of the complainant who may not want to join them through persuasion,” the statement said.
