ADAMAWA RIOTS: Residents Applaud Steps Taken By Government

  • By Ibrahim Abubakar, Yola Some residents in Adamawa state, North East Nigeria have applauded the steps taken by the state government by imposing 24 Hours curfew following the activities of rioters.

The residents however appealed to both the Federal and state government to take drastic steps in cushioning the hardships faced by its citizens.

According to some residents, they said the curfew will affect businesses within and outside the state, but that it is the right decision so far taken by the Adamawa state governor.

There is serious compliance of the curfew as the Military, Police and other security agencies have taken charge of the entire state capital, Yola.
