Details of Man United’s deal for Diego Leon has been revealed.
According to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Man United have reached verbal agreement to sign the 17-year-old Paraguayan left back from Cerro Porteno.
The Red Devils will pay Cerro Porteno an initial fee of $4million plus $1million easy add-ons and over $3.5m based on the player’s or the team’s future performances.
León will arrive at Old Trafford in July 2025.
Recall that Manchester United were in ‘active talks’ with Cerro Porteno to sign León as they seek to bolster manager Ruben Amorim’s squad.
Amorim replaced Erik ten Hag at Man United after the Dutchman was sacked few weeks ago.
