Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi scored for Fulham who failed to hold on to their lead as they loss 4-1 to visiting Wolves at Craven Cottage in Saturday’s Premier League game.
Iwobi opened scoring for Fulham in the 20th minute as he curled and unstoppable shot from the edge of the box.
However, Fulham lead lasted only 11 minutes as Matheus Cunha equalized with a calm finish from a Mario Lamina’s assist.
Eight minutes after the restart, Joao Gomes gave the visitors a lead that they hardly seemed to be letting slip.
Cunha then scored another excellent goal in the 87th minute, and replacement Goncalo Guedes finished the thrashing in stoppage time.
Fulham’s loss reduced them to ninth place with 18 points, while Wolves’ second league victory of the year put them on nine points from 12 games and provisionally into 17th place.
