161 Stranded Nigerians Repatriated From Tripoli, Libya

Another batch of 161 stranded Nigerians have arrived at the Lagos airport from Libya.
They arrived in the country through the cargo section of Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
The Nigerians were flown into the country aboard Al Buraq Air with registration number 5A-DMG and flight number BRQ189/07.TSINK.MJI which touched down at the Cargo Wing of the airport about 11 pm on Tuesday.
The returnees consisted of 100 adult females and 37 adult males, 9 female children and 7 male children, and 4 females and males each.
The flight departed Tripoli, Libya at about 1722 hours.
They were received at the Lagos airport by officials of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), the Refugee Commission, and the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN).
